Client Portal Access

From an Existing Client

Go to the desired client's page and select Add New and then Login.

The following modal then appears allowing you to input the client's details and decide on what should be available for them within the portal.

Either choose an existing email address from the client record or add a new email address. They will use this to login to the portal.
Decide if you would like the login to expire. If you wish, you can select a certain date after which the client will not be able to login.
Choose the clients write and delete permissions. Write permissions allows them to update their information and delete permissions allows them to delete information.
This toggle is from the old portal and now defunct, so will be removed in our next release.****
Decide if this login should have weath enabled. This is one of the pages in the client portal that shows the client a graph of their plans, as well as the individual breakdown.

Email Integration

In Plannr, you can store and sort your emails from clients easily. To watch a quick video of the integration, click here.

Mailboxes

Your Mailbox can be found in the Settings area of Plannr, and here you will see all the mailboxes that are currently linked to this site.

More information on setting up your mailbox in Plannr is available here.

Once you have followed the instructions in the article above, you'll see that your mailbox will be syncing. Please be aware that this may take a few hours.

When this is complete, you will see the status change to connected.

At any time you can edit the name of the mailbox or delete it by selecting the pen and bin icons respectively.

Viewing Emails

Document Builder

In Plannr, you have a fast and efficient way of creating documents- The Document Builder!

From any page in Plannr you can find the Document Builder under the Business tab from the menu on the left hand side.

Creating a Template

|| Please note: Any templates made in Document Builder V2 will need to be recreated in V3. This can be done by simply copying and pasting the contents of the document.

Before you can generate a document, you need to create a template. To create a template, go to the Templates tab in the Document Builder and select Add New.

This opens the following modal asking for a name for the document. Once you've entered one, hit save.

You are then taken to the following screen where you can edit your new document.

Along the top you have different elements for editing. More information on these are available here.

Once you have finished editing your template, ensure to save it.

Unipass Certificates in Plannr

Q: EDI (Automated Provider Remuneration Statements)

Plannr offers EDI (Electronic Data Interface). These are automated Provider remuneration statements, enabling the addon will start the process to automatically send statements to Plannr rather than receiving statements via email or having to download from the Provider site. Please setup your FCA number which can now be saved and stored against your firm on your Plannr site. Unipass certificate

To have access to secure information and our contract enquiry add ons like, Royal London, you will need to have a Unipass digital certificate. This pass provides added security for both users and providers who are sending secure information.

In order to obtain a Unipass digital certificate, users need to complete a Unipass identity registration form. This would include their own individual information and firm for which they work for. You can do this here. (https://www.unipass.co.uk/identity/)

Start by typing in the search bar "run", within this open box search mmc. This will load Microsoft Management Console.

Next click on File then Add/Remove Snap-in

In the left hand box you will need to select certificates and click add. Then select My user account and **finish **, Then click okay to close the Snap-ins dialog.

Adding an Employee

Adding an Employee Contact Record

Go to the Contacts tab from the left hand side menu
Go to the top right hand side and select Add New
Choose Employee

This will bring up a modal to enter in the employees details

Decide if the employee is also a Prospect.
Enter the employee’s first and last name
Enter their email address
Enter their meeting booking link. More information on this is available here.
Select the employee’s role within Plannr- Owner, Admin or Adviser.

Owners users have super-level access and can control billing, teams, branding and other firm-level settings.

Admin users have access to control teams, branding and settings but not billing.

Member users have day-to-day access to Plannr.

Select the Employee’s department(s). These roles are used in various dropdown lists through Plannr and we have the following roles available:

Administrator
Adviser
Compliance
Finance
IT
Marketing
Paraplanner

Select which Group(s) the employee should belong to. More information on Groups is available here.
Where Adviser has been selected, select the RMAR advice type.
Choose which adviser split should be applied to this employee. Further information
