Troubleshooting and Resolving Valuation Issues
Common Causes for Missing Prudential Valuations
Missing valuations for Prudential retirement plans are often due to errors in policy formatting. Most notably, Prudential policy numbers must include specific suffixes (e.g., D01 or A01). If these suffixes are absent or incorrectly formatted, Plannr’s valuation system cannot retrieve the associated information. Ensure policy details in your records exactly match Prudential’s records.
Bulk Correction of Policy Numbers
To correct Prudential policy numbers for multiple plans in bulk:
Obtain Updated Policy Details: Request accurate policy details, including all required suffixes, directly from Prudential.
Use the Import Tool: Update plans in bulk using Plannr’s import tool. Ensure the updated records reflect the accurate policy numbers from Prudential to align the systems.
Reconciling Data Between Prudential and Plannr
Follow these steps to ensure data consistency:
Request Policy List from Prudential: Obtain a complete list of policies and their associated details.
Export Records from Plannr: Use the Reports tool in Plannr to extract your current plan data.
Compare and Identify Discrepancies: Cross-check the two lists to find missing or mismatched details, focusing on the policy numbers and their suffixes.
Update Records: Use manual updates or Plannr’s bulk import tool to correct policy numbers. This step ensures all data is synchronized, and valuations appear correctly.
