If you already have a CSV ready to import, you can skip this step

From here, select Add New.
You'll then be taken to the Import Wizard. Select Circles from the dropdown menu. A link will appear below, giving you the ability to download the sample import CSV file.
Populating the CSV file
If you already have a CSV ready to import, you can skip this step
Once you've downloaded the CSV file, you can input your data.
The various fields are explained below:
uuid - refers to the circle uuid
This only needs to be added when you're updating Circle records, not when you're creating them.
name - refers to the circle name (e.g. Mr & Mrs Smith Circle)
account_uuids - refers to the individual accounts you want linked to the circle (e.g. Mr Smith, Mrs Smith).
The UUID's should be separated by a comma (but no space - e.g. UUID1,UUID2).
group_uuids - refers to the group the Circle should be linked to
The Circle group must match the group the Individual records are held under.
Importing the CSV file
Select the Importer you want to run - in this instance it would be Circles
Select the mode you'd like to use - we'll use Create for this example
Remember to always Validate your files!
Choose your CSV file to upload
Click Proceed
On the next screen, you'll be asked to map the relevant columns. If you use the Plannr example CSV file, they will automatically map for you.
Please ignore external_reference_company and external_reference_value - These are for internal use only.
To ignore fields in bulk, you can click set all unmapped to ignore.
Once you're happy to proceed, click Save and Progress.
On the next screen, click Proceed to begin the import.
Once the import is complete, you'll see this screen, confirming that the import has succeeded.
โIf there are any errors then they will appear on this screen too.
You'll then be able to find the newly created Circle record.
