If you head to Settings > Firm details, firms have the ability to add CC, BCC and a Reply to email address for when users and clients want to reply to a system generated email (such as a factfind request email, a new conversation email, document uploaded notification email, etc.) that traditionally comes from [email protected].

These CC and BCC fields will be used in email notifications across the firm site, so consider whether you want to be cc'd in to every communication that your site generates, for all of your client bank.

The CC and BCC fields allow you to enter alternative email addresses to be added recipients to the emails sent from Plannr.

Be mindful that when cc'ing a mailbox you will need to consider whether it is appropriate for the mailbox to receive email notifications for every client record in your site, e.g. where you have used groups to segment your client bank, all system generated emails will be cc'd to this mailbox irrespective of the mailbox owner's group access.

The 'Reply to' field allows you to choose an email address that would receive a direct reply from a client off the back of these emails. Where a reply to email address is added, any reply to an email will go to that address.

Multiple email addresses can be added to the cc and bcc email fields. The 'Reply to email address' field is limited to a single email address.

Emails sent from the firm/Plannr will still display the sender as being '[email protected]' - this is something we cannot change due to the third party site we use to generate and send the emails.

β“˜ These settings are Owner permission driven, so Admin and Member level users will not be able to edit these recipients.
