Tasks overview

In Plannr, Tasks are an easy way to keep track of what needs to be done. From the Dashboard, you can see all open tasks at the top. You can click on the Open Tasks to go to the My Tasks section, or alternatively find My Tasks from the menu on the left hand side.




From the My Tasks tab you can see all open tasks, click on Select all my tasks to see all your tasks. Alternatively use the filter bars at the top of the screen to search for tasks by assignee or by client. Tasks are shown by status in a kanban card view.


​ If you need to refine your task list further, click on More filters on the right hand side of the screen, the top section of the screen will expand to show additional filters:

  1. Filter by status - The task status such as Not Started, In Progress etc

  2. Task Name - useful if you need to look for a set of specific tasks

  3. Due - enter a date range the tasks are due

  4. Filter by task type - whether the task is related to a Client, Case or Plan

  5. Include related tasks

  6. Has a due date

  7. Filter by overdue - options are All, Overdue, Not overdue, Due today, Sue this week, Due next week

  8. Is recurring? Set to yes if you want to look for recurring tasks

  9. Include unassigned tasks

  10. Include sub-tasks

  11. Sort By - decide how the Tasks are displayed by position, created at, updated at, Name, Due at or Priority.

The Tasks in the lower half of the screen will update as the filters are chosen:


​To view a task, click into one of the Task tiles and further details will appear:

  1. Depending what the Task is related to either the Client, Case or Plan Name will appear at the top.

  2. Due Date of the Task

  3. Task Name

  4. Assignee - who the task is assigned to

  5. Description - task description

  6. Use this section to add or view any Notes relating to the Task, log any time spent on the Task and the audit history of the task.

  7. Parent Task - if the task is has a Parent, it will be displayed here.

  8. Subtask - if the Task has a related subtask it will be shown in this area.

  9. complete - Use to complete the task

  10. Actions - use this button to Edit, Archive or Delete the task (if your user permissions allow).

Tasks can also be viewed via clients, plans and cases under Work > Tasks
