Within a Business Client Record, there are a number of different fields available to complete. This will give you the ability to hold more information against a Business Client Record.

Firstly, navigate to the Contact & Preferences tab, either when you're adding a new Business Client or within an existing record via update basic details.

If we scroll down, you'll see a number of fields available for your Business Client Record. Let's take a look at them all in more detail.

Primary Contacts

Here you can add multiple primary contacts for a Business. Either using an existing contact record or adding a new contact.

Once you've completed the mandatory fields, click Create

This will then create the relevant Primary Contact record. If you need to add any further contacts, click the Add Contact button.

Business Information Fields

In the next section there are a number of fields, relating to the Business itself. The majority of these fields are free text, enabling you to input Business specific information, such as Nature of Business.

Professional Advisers

If you scroll further down the page, you'll find the Professional Advisers section.

Here you have the option to input further Contacts outside of the Business, such as Accountant, Legal Adviser, Auditor and Data Protection Officer.

Each section has the option for the contact name and address. For accountants, you also have the option for the Accountant Company name.

Shareholders

We also have a section within the add new business modal that allows you to input shareholder details for the business.

Simply navigate to the shareholders tab, and you can input these.

Click on 'Add Shareholder' and you then get a range of information to complete:

Remember to click on 'Add' once filled in! You can add multiple shareholders if required.

If you want to add shareholder information to an existing business record, this is located under Add New > Shareholder
