This article clarifies how tasks triggered by workflows, against a case, are displayed in the system and provides troubleshooting tips for any issues.
Task Visibility
When a workflow is initiated under a case, any tasks triggered by that workflow will typically appear in two locations:
Under the specific case: Tasks are directly tied to the case they originate from.
In the client’s general task section: Tasks will also be listed here as part of the client’s overall task allocation.
Troubleshooting - Missing Tasks
If tasks aren't appearing under the client’s task section:
Verify that the 'include related tasks' option is checked within the client's task section.
This toggle allows related tasks from cases to be displayed broadly. Ensuring it is set to ‘Yes’ will make them visible.
The same can be applied when looking within "My Tasks" as a whole (e.g. not within a Client record).
