SmartSearch Integration

How to connect your SmartSearch account and get underway with AML checks in Plannr!

The Addons store is the place to find extra features you can add to your Plannr site.

Head to Settings then select the Addons tile to find all the available integrations.


From here you will be able to see the Addons available to you; you can sort using the Categories on the left.

Enabling the Addon

Choose the Addon you require then begin following the set up steps.

Navigate to Setup Instructions to enable the Addon, following the instructions in the tile.

Once you have your credentials you can enter them in the Configuration tab and Enable the Addon for your site.

Once your Addon is enabled, to run an AML check you simply head to the client record via Contacts and, from the Add New menu, select Background Check.

Select SmartSearch from the New Background Check side modal.

From here you can enter any information that's missing from your client's contact record:


Once you have hit Save, you will be taken to a pending check while SmartSearch runs the AML in the background. Once complete, the status will change to Complete and flag up any referral required to an MLRO officer if there are any questions or failures on the submission:

Clicking on the entry will take you to the AML check details page, where you can add any notes, view the result output in the Files tab and check what has flagged for refer where applicable.

The full report provides any areas where the AML check might have failed.

As this is a dummy entry, as you can see there are multiple failures for review!
